    ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!

Peyton rolled over this morning! (it is these little things that fill a parent's soul with joy) When I checked the monitor early this morning, she was on her tummy. I went in and flipped her to her back and went back to bed. I came in an hour later and she was back on her tummy! Of course, I am trying to get her to do it now, but she is too busy "talking" to me and won't concentrate! I'll keep you all posted!

    So much love!

Peyton is 4 months old today! Lots happened this month...

She is doing GREAT! She has just about doubled her birth weight and is 11 and a half pounds and 23 inches long. We started formula this month and she loves it. Peyton is a big eater, taking in 6 to 7 ounces per feeding. Dr. Hewett is very pleased with her growth. She is now in the 15th percentile! Dr. Hewett also says that her eyes will definitely be blue! YAY!

We went on our first family vacation to Charleston, SC. It was so much fun. Peyton was such a trooper. She barely cried at all. In fact, she was so quiet one day that we almost forgot to feed her because all three of us were so busy taking in the sights.

Peyton sleeps 12 hours a night now! Her bedtime is 7pm and she gets up around 7am. It is so wonderful for Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy went back to work on June 11th and Peyton had her first day of "school". It was a terrible week for Mommy. Peyton didn't seem to mind too much. She is doing well at Wakefield Children's Center and we like the teachers there. It is just an adjustment for Mommy and Daddy. We miss her lots during the day!

Peyton has some amazing new skills. She grabs everything in sight and puts it in her mouth. She still loves to suck on her fist more than on the binkie and she also cannot live without her blankey. She still hates tummy time, but we have to keep doing it to encourage her to roll over. Peyton "talks" up a storm (just like Mommy and Daddy) and we are anxiously waiting for her to laugh. Should be any day now!

Stay tuned for lots more. Peyton changes so much every week, we just can't wait to see what's next!

    Much Love!
