PEYTON IS TWO YEARS OLD!!!
This kid is amazing! She learns so fast, everyday is a new word or trick. She is putting together sentences like a champ. The other day we got her out of the bed and she said "I didn't sleep good!" When I asked her why, she stated "because I woke up!". As if to say, Duh Mom! Brilliant. She says her complete ABC's and can count to ten! (although she frequently forgets 9)
Peyton really knows the meaning of friends now and cherishes the time she spends with them. She misses Bella and Mattias the moment she leaves them. She is big on hugging and insists on hugging and kissing everytime she says hello and goodbye.
It was a very busy February with lots of family. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. Mimi came too and stayed while Mommy and Daddy went skiing. In late March, PopPop and Lisa are coming to watch Peyton and take her to see Aunt Betsy and Great Grandma.
We are enjoying our time with Peyton so much, we just cannot get enough!
MUCH LOVE!Add a comment:

WHOA!!! Peyton is just one short month away from being TWO YEARS OLD! We cannot believe it.
So much has happened in the last two months. We drove the 10 hours home to Florida for Christmas. Along the way we stopped in Daytona to see the Rearden family and Orlando to see the Munroes and the Joyces. It was so great to see them and we are glad we could catch up. While we were home we were lucky enough to spend time with Risa, Braden, Jana and Ayla. Peyton also got to meet Jack Calhoun for the first time. She warmed up to him quickly and they became fast friends.
Peyton made her first trip to the Zoo. We were accompanied by MiMi, Aunt Kim, Uncle Mark, Grandma and Grandpa. It was quite a day. Peyton even got licked by a giraffe!
The week was filled with visits with friends and family. Peyton really enjoyed chasing her cousins Brooke and Spencer all over the yard.
Peyton was a real trooper in the car. She read tons of books and watched a little bit of Elmo.
We are working on getting all four of her 2 year molars and it has really not been fun. Aside from that, Peyton is putting together full sentences now! It is amazing. Some of her favorite Holiday sentences were "Look Mommy, LIGHTS!" and "I don't like it!". The latter is a real joy.
All in all we couldn't be a happier threesome.
Coming up in February...PEYTON TURNS TWO!!!!!Comments:Grandma and Grandpa: You are getting to be such a big girl, Peyton! We love talking to you on the phone, and in person, of course! Grandpa is excited to see you this weekend, and we'll see you again in a couple of weeks!
Love you bunches,

It has been awile since our last post! Happy 21 months to Peyton! I cannot believe how the time has flown...she will be 2 years old in just 3 months!
These last few months have been fantastic! Peyton is talking more and more everday. She has become a very good "mimic". She repeats everything we say, so now we have to watch our words! :)
The biggest development is that Peyton is going #2 on the potty! She wont stop playing long enough to go #1. As usual, she is at her own pace!
Peyton also started gymnastics this month. It isnt a structured class, but just gets her exposed to the gym and the equipment. She LOVES it!
Last month we had a GREAT visit with the Rearden family. We went to the pumpkin patch and had a BLAST!!! This month Mimi and Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit for Thanksgiving. Peyton cannot wait to be spoiled. She talks about them coming all the time.
December will be a very busy month. PopPop and Lisa are coming to visit. They will help us find the perfect Christmas tree! We will also visit the Reardens at their home in Daytona. We are getting together with the Joyce family and the Munroe family for a holiday lunch and then it is off to see the family! Peyton cant wait to play with her new friend Jack too!
As you can see, we have been very busy, but we are having so much fun!!!
Much Love!Comments:Grandma and Grandpa: Peyton, you are such a busy little girl! We can't wait to see you for Thanksgiving and also to have you come for Christmas! It will be fun for you to meet your cousins, Brooke and Spencer! Love, Grandma and GrandpaAdd a comment:

What an amazing month it has been!!!
Peyton is now 18 months old. The biggest news is that she finally started WALKING!!! We had lots of fun activities this month. The Rearden family came to visit. Peyton loved playing with Mackenzie and Ava.
Mommy is now staying home with Peyton and it is so rewarding. However, it does come with lots of challenges. Stay at home Moms truly have the hardest job ever! It is worth every minute though!
Grandma and Grandpa stopped over for a few days on their way home from their vacation. It was a wonderful visit and we even convinced them to stay an extra day! (didnt take too much convincing!)
Mommy and Peyton went to Atlanta to visit PopPop, Lisa and Lindsey. It was really great to see them and Peyton loved chasing Sammy the dog.
Stay tuned because next month will be busy too. Mimi is coming to visit, we are all going to Charlotte, and Peyton is going to have her very first ice cream cone!!!
SOOOO Much Love!!!Comments:Grandma and Grandpa: Peyton, you are such a big girl! I hope Mommy and Daddy take pictures of you with your first ice cream cone! I hope it is chocolate! Hugs and Kisses!Add a comment:

Happy 17 Months to Peyton!
These past few months have been very busy! Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Monkey came to visit. We had so much fun with them! Aunt Kim spoiled me rotten and I really enjoyed the long conversations with Uncle Monkey.
I am talking up a storm!!! I have so much to say when we are together. However, I am still being quite stubborn with the walking. I CAN walk, I just won't. Daddy took me to the store and I walked all over, even right out the front door! But I don't like to flaunt talent, so I won't do it at home.
We went to Orlando to visit Aunt Danielle, Uncle Fabio, and Nolan. We had a lot of fun together. Nolan still thinks girls are yucky, I'll get him next time! Uncle Fabio and Grandma Cleide played in the pool with me and watched me all day while Mommy and Aunt Danielle went shopping. It was a blast! Mommy even got to visit my new friend Jack Calhoun. I didnt get to see him. Next time! I hear he is sooo cute!
Can you believe I got 4 new teeth! All of my eye teeth came in. They hurt me so bad. :(
Stay tuned for more fun summer news! We will be visiting everyone in Tampa Bay next week!
Much Love!Comments:Gina: Comming to Tampa! Hey Peyton, come on over I love to play!! Alexandra

Happy 15 Months to Peyton!!!
We are doing great! Peyton is talking more and more everyday. She can now say...
Mama
Dada
Baby
Car
Hi
Duck
Fish
Dog
Night Night
Bye
Book
She can make two animal sounds...Elephant and Monkey. Random, I know! She also points out almost all of her body parts!
No walking yet. She now exclusively walks on her knees. Dr. Hewett says not to push it!
Peyton is growing steadily but is still just a peanut. She is in the 20th percentile for weight and 15th percentile for height. Definitely a Jones!
Giving hugs and kisses is one of Peyton's favorite things. She is such a loving and sweet little girl. We just can't get enough!!!
Much Love!Comments:Aunt Kim and Uncle Monkey: We had such a great time with you, Peanut! We love you so much! Thank you for all the "night nights" and snuggles! Don't forget to show daddy your new bunny and wolf tricks. :)Add a comment:

Happy 14th Month to Peyton!
She has gotten THREE new teeth this month! Her molars are coming in, just one more to go. I think these have given her the toughest time, she seemed to be very uncomfortable.
No walking just yet, but LOTS of talking! Peyton's latest list includes:
Mama
Dada
Baby
Car
Hi
Duck
She can also point to various body parts like Tummy, Nose, and Hair! We are working on the others.
Grandma came to visit this month and helped out Daddy while Mommy was out of town. We have lots to look forward to in May. MiMi is coming, we are visiting the Loomis family in Virginia, and Grandma is coming again!
Much Love!Comments:Add a comment:

Peyton is 13 months old!
We have really been enjoying our sweet little one year old! She is getting more and more mobile. She likes to "cruise" along the edges of the furniture and around the ottoman. She loves to push around anything that has wheels, like her walk-behind toys and her pink car. She even pushes her high chair around the kitchen! Other new tricks include saying "no" (grrreat), clapping, and giving high-5's.
Peyton got three teeth this month!! Another one is on the way. So she has been a little cranky with the soreness. We also discovered that Peyton has an egg allergy. We learned the hard way, so now we keep an epipen on hand and watch her egg intake.
Peyton enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt at the Powers' house and Mommy ate all of her candy. :)
We are looking forward to a busy April. Grandma is coming to visit and I am sure that sometime in April, Peyton will be walking. Watch out world!
Much Love!
Comments:Aunt Kim: (continued)Grandma and Grandpa: Hi Peyton,
You have changed so much in the last month! I can hardly wait to see you next week Aunt Kim was right, hide the Snickers! Love you, Grandma and GrandpaAunt Kim: Dear Peyton - I get cranky when I am teething too, so no worries. When Grandma comes to visit, hide the snickers bars you found on easter. HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO PEYTON!
Wow! This year flew by too fast. In the last month we have had so many milestones.
Peyton crawls everywhere and is pretty quick. Now she will also pull herself up on the couch and anything else she can reach. Peyton mimics just about any face you can make. She will also wave bye-bye and hello.
Peyton has discovered her first word.....Baby! Mimi gave her a baby doll for her birthday. As soon as she opened it and saw what it was, she yelled "Baby!". It was amazing because we have never taught that to her! (we had been pushing for Mama and Dada!) Now everytime she sees a baby doll or a real baby, she says "Baby, Baby!".
Peyton had a wonderful Princess Birthday Party. Lots of family and friends attended to watch Peyton smash her cake. She was more interested in gingerly licking the icing from her fingers. Mommy had to squish her hand in the cake in order for her to get into it.
We went for the big one year pediatrician visit today. Peyton's growth and health are perfect! She is just in the 10th percentile for height (she's a Jones!)and the 30th percentile for weight. Nothing wrong with being tiny! The big news was that the doctor has instructed us to lose the bottle and baby food. Now it will only be 3 sippy cups of milk a day and all regular table foods. She is all clear to eat fish, nuts, and eggs too. It's a whole new world!
This year has been the best of our lives. We are looking forward to all of the wonderful things ahead!
Much Love!Comments:Kim Rowland: She is so sweet. So happy for all of you and a Happy belated birthday to Peyton.Add a comment:

Peyton is 11 months old! We are officially counting down to the big 1 year birthday!
Peyton is crawling everywhere and is finally motivated to go from a sitting position to crawling. She keeps us very busy.
Peyton has graduated from the infant carrier to a big girl car seat. She is still backward and we plan to turn her on her first birthday.
As usual, she is talking up a storm. She now tries to say Dog (it comes out as "Doe"), but she says it everytime she sees or hears a dog. She also says "Uh-Oh" everytime she drops something. Is it possible to have "Uh-Oh" be her first word??? I am still pulling for Mama.
Stay tuned, next month is the BIG Birthday!!! Lots of family are coming and we can't wait to see them!
Much Love!Comments:Add a comment:

We miss you so much but we were so glad to see you on your birthday! We are seeing so many wonderful things in New Zealand that we know you would love! You seem to have changed so much ever since we last saw you! Can't wait to see you again!
